There are many different ways to join our community in service and friendship. Below, you can see a list of our parish's organizations, contact our parish offices to find out more!

 

ALTAR SOCIETY- From supplying the altar to hosting funeral dinners and so much more, our parishes Altar Society's are made up of women who wish to serve Christ through serving His church, join today!

KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS-Find out how to become part of a brotherhood of like minded Catholic men who work year round to support pro-life ministries, special needs programs, local scholarships, help for the poor, and service within their parishes among so much more. K of C Council 2241 meets the 1st Thursday of the month at the Fr. Buhman center in Shelbina.

Parish Committees

The many ministries and committees within the parishes of NCM Catholic are working hard to serve both parish and community as we strive to be the stewards God's calling us all to be. If you are interested in serving, please contact one of our parish offices.

 

Building & Maintenance-The amazing campuses of Sacred Heart, Immaculate Conception, St. Patrick and St. Mary are maintained and improved regularly due to the ongoing commitment of the volunteers who serve on our building and maintenance committee.

 

Social Concerns-From keeping our parish families active and engaged through social activities, fun and meals to keeping them safe and secure with home maintenance projects, the social concerns committee is here to serve.

 

Stewardship-Taking our concerns and service beyond our parish family is the responsibility of each of us. Find out ways through our stewardship program how you can be part of a current ministry or share your own ideas and gifts.

 

Liturgy & Worship-In collaboration with our pastor, the members of this committee manage everything from music to decor but so much more.

 

Youth-Our youth ministry starts in pre-K and goes through 12th grade, offering many opportunities for forming familial bonds, having fun, growing in faith, intercessory praying and attending retreats.

 

Education-Our education committees work together to provide catechesis and formation opportunities for all ages of parishioners from CCD classes to adult ed.

 

Boards/Councils

Our parish encourages parishioners to connect with the community by serving as board members for their parish.

 

All four of our parishes have active Parish Councils, Finance Councils and a Home & School Board for our school at Immaculate Conception. Meetings are monthly and elections are held annually. Watch the bulletin for upcoming opportunities to become a part of these councils.
